Learning the practice of yoga at a young age has many benefits. Through the practice of yoga and mindfulness children learn to develop body awareness and are given tools to manage stress - through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement.
Building concentration in a healthy, non-competitive environment children can find calm in the present moment. Learning how to use the body in a healthy way allows increased confidence and positive self-image.
Angie is a Mindfulness Instructor, Kids/Family Yoga Instructor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has her masters degree in Social Work with emphasis as a trauma therapist for children and families.
Cost: $10 per child, $15 per family (with 1+ children)
